DePaul Recruiting Notes

The Chicago Tribune gives a detailed update on DePaul's latest recruiting efforts for 2007 and 2008 in a recent article about Eric Gordon's visit to Indiana: Gordon Stays With Illinois - For Now.

Gordon visited Indiana over the weekend with Derrick Rose. Rose has narrowed his choices to Memphis, Indiana, Kansas, UCLA and DePaul. The story mentions that DePaul is the top choice for 6-9 Mac Koshwal of Boys To Men. DePaul will have to fend off overtures from Louisville, Tennessee, Southern California and Louisiana State for Koshwal. In addition, 6-10 Angel Garcia is high on Wainwright's list along with 6-4 Darquavis Tucker of Saginaw, MI. The Trib also mentions DePaul's recent verball commitment from Matija Poscic of Highland Community College.

The story also cites ChicagoHoops.com when looking at the 2008 recruits that Jerry Wainwright and his Blue Demon staff is targeting locally for 2008. Wainwright has targeted juniors 6-9 Michael Dunigan of Farragut, 6-6 DeAndre Liggins of Washington and the Hales Franciscan duo of 6-8 Josh Crittle and 6-5 Matt Humphrey.
